Theatre, film and TV actor Sir Donald Sinden has died at his home aged 90 following a long illness. He made his name on stage as a Shakespearean actor and appeared in more than 70 film and TV productions. He had been suffering from prostate cancer for several years, and died of the disease at his home in Kent.   Actor Richard Kiel – who played steel-toothed villain Jaws in two James Bond films – has died in California aged 74. The towering American star, who appeared in The Spy Who Loved Me in 1977 and Moonraker in 1979, died in hospital in Fresno on Wednesday.   A Dhaka court on Thursday sent music director Shawkat Ali Emon to jail in a case filed under the ICT Act. 2 tv channels suspended in pakistan

The Pakistani authorities have suspended the broadcast of two more television channels after it blocked Geo News transmission earlier in June. “The Pakistan electronic media regulatory authority (PEMRA) has suspended Geo Entertainment’s licence for 30 days, and ARY News’s licence for 15 days, along with Rs 10 million penalties to both the channels,” a government official said. Geo Entertainment’s licence was suspended over blasphemous broadcast for 30 days whereas ARY News received 15-day licence suspension penalty.
