4 killed, 6 hurt at Karwan Bazar

Four persons were killed and six others were injured as a train ploughed into  a crowd at Karwan Bazar rail crossing in Dhaka this morning.

The accident occurred at 8:30am when two trains  Karnaphuli Express and Jamuna Express  were passing  from opposite directions near the Karwan Bazar fish market, locals said.

Mohammad, who was  banana vendors on the railway tracks, died on the spot while two other unknown persons succumbed to their injuries  at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).
The injured were rushed  to the DMCH, wetness said.
